Corina Zappia is a writer from Orange, TX who now lives in Seattle, WA. A former staff writer for the Village Voice, she is the nonfiction editor at Pacifica Literary Review and an MFA graduate of the Bennington Writing Seminars. Her personal essays and reviews have appeared in Salon, The Rumpus, The Los Angeles Review of Books, Gastronomica, Serious Eats, The Awl, Nerve, and The Hairpin, among others. She is currently a contributing food writer at The Stranger.
